The Health Information Trust Alliance is seeking nominations for its annual InfoSec Awards. The awards recognize the contributions of individuals and organizations in five categories:

  • Security and privacy;
  • Education and training;
  • Awareness and culture;
  • Industry contributions;
  • Innovative and effective security solutions (vendors).

So if you're doing groundbreaking work in healthcare information security, don't miss this opportunity to gain some recognition as well as help spread the word about best practices.

Past winners have included Catholic Health East, General Dynamics, Health Care Service Corp. and Kaiser Permanente.

Nominations are open to individuals and organizations within the healthcare industry or who support the industry. Information security vendors are eligible for nomination, and they may also submit a nomination on behalf of a customer. Individuals and organizations may nominate themselves or nominate teams, peers or technology partners.
