Michael Gardner has worked in the ICS security space for over 7 years. While completing his undergraduate degree in Information Systems, he wanted to help secure critical infrastructure and obtained a role in a newly formed ICS SOC at a large electric utility. Here he focused on security monitoring and incident response for an array of real-time systems involved in electric and gas operations. In his next role, he became the first ever OT Threat intelligence Analyst and developed an understanding of the energy sector threat landscape and also provided intelligence to security operations teams and OT stakeholders. Currently, Michael works for Dragos as a Senior Intelligence Technical Account Manager, where he helps Dragos’s customers across a variety of industrial verticals mature their threat intelligence programs and operationalize ICS/OT threat intelligence.
