Austerity Bites Critical National Infrastructure Security

More must be done to address the U.K.'s critical national infrastructure, which includes everything from utilities, transportation and financial services to telecommunications, defense and healthcare.

"It's partly austerity, and it's partly what's happening in the global economy, but we've really seen an underinvestment, specifically in the critical national infrastructure," says LogRhythm's Ross Brewer. "We've seen some massive outages in the healthcare industry, we've seen some massive outages in the airline industry, and I think this underinvestment has increased the risks."

In a video interview at the recent Infosecurity Europe conference in London, Brewer discusses:
