Are We on the Verge of Getting to Passwordless?
Identity Expert Jeremy Grant Discusses the Shift to Cryptographic KeysJeremy Grant of Venable says we are getting closer to eradicating the password. He says that in the next 12 to 18 months, "There will be a lot of uptake from big, consumer-facing brands to finally kill the password and let people instead create a passkey when they sign up for an account."

- What the new draft federal privacy bill means and whether it has a chance to pass;
- Where we are in terms of digital identity - and where we are going.
Grant was the founding leader of the National Program Office for the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace and senior executive adviser for identity management at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He led the White House’s initiative to catalyze a marketplace of secure, easy-to-use, privacy-enhancing identity solutions for online services through government and private sector partnerships.
