Authentication and Identity Management
GSA / NIST / OMB Compliance
How to leverage existing architecture to meet FICAM requirements
Background
A challenge faced by every Public Sector agency is how to securely give users access to applications, while ensuring the security of data. These users can be inside the agency, at another agency or the general public. Developing and deploying these applications has their own set of challenges that are compounded when user access is considered.
To address these concerns, the Federal Chief Information Officers Council and the Federal Enterprise Architecture developed a set of guidelines called the Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) Roadmap and Implementation Guidance. Using these guidelines agencies have started FICAM initiatives to improve and tighten security, and helping protect the nation's IT infrastructure and citizens from cyber security threats.
One of the key enabling technologies in these initiatives is Federated Identity Management. In this webinar you'll learn how these technologies can help agencies meet current gaps, agencies stand to gain significant benefits around security, cost, and interoperability which will have positive impacts beyond an individual agency in improving the delivery of services by the Federal Government.
In this webinar you will see the role of Ping Identity's solutions on how you can help:
Enable FICAM compliant single sign on to any application - On-premise, private cloud or public cloud
Increase Security - closing the gaps around users access applications and auditing what they do
How leverage existing identity investments - making existing solutions meet the need of an agency today and tomorrow
Compliance - GSA/NIST/OMB-approved security and privacy
Leverage existing Identity investments
Leverage Existing investments in PIV or PIV-I Cards - Using these cards to facilitate single sign-on to all applications
Delivering Citizen-Facing applications - Leveraging approved FICAM providers to deliver citizen service
